Klochkova earns podium finish at WSSU Women's Spring Golf Challenge

Sophomore cards a two round 173 to finish fourth

Winston-Salem, N.C. - Alisiya Klochkova improved on her first round 88, carding a second round score of 85 in leading the Brevard College women's golf team on Sunday morning. The sophomore placed fourth in the event, earning a podium finish.

Hampton University's Iman Ellis won the two-day event at the Winston Lake Golf Course, finishing with a two-round total of 161, 17 over par for the event and teammates Dione West and Kayla Williams rounded out the top three.

Brevard's Macy Kottyan finished the event, improving on her first round total by five strokes to finish in seventh, while Erika Kellems made the biggest strides in the tournament, recording a 20 stroke improvement on her way to an eighth place result.

The Tornados are back on the golf course on Monday, March 22nd, as the Tornados take on Montreat at the Glen Cannon Country Club in Etowah, N.C.
