Hostetter and Dillman take doubles match, Brevard falls 5-4

Harrogate, Tenn. – Hostetter and Dillman won their doubles match and the Tornados swept the lower half of the singles matches, but Brevard was unable to overcome Lincoln Memorial in falling, 5-4.

With the loss, Brevard falls to 11-5, 4-3 in SAC competition, while Lincoln Memorial improves to 14-2, 7-1 in conference play.

Hostetter and Dillman defeated the Railsplitters duo of Mandy Mills and Amanda Horenkamp, 8-0, but LMU took the other two doubles matches in heading into singles play with the 2-1 advantage.

Kayley Duval, Kim Dixon and Elise Labus took their matches at No. 4, 5 and 6 singles, but Lincoln Memorial swept singles 1, 2 and 3 in recording the win.

The Tornados return home to host USC Aiken for their final home match of the 2010 season. Doubles play started at 3 p.m. at the BC Tennis Complex.
