Klochkova leads Brevard to sixth place finish at Montreat College Invitational

Junior improves 10 strokes on day two to finish third overall in tournament

Brevard, N.C. - Alisiya Klochkova improved on her first round score by 10 strokes, carding a season best 74 on day two to finish third overall individually in leading the team to a sixth place finish at the Montreat College Invitational this past week.

After shooting an 84 on day one, Klochkova came back with a 74, scoring the second-lowest round of the tournament behind tournament medalist Jessica Tarbet, on her way to finishing third overall with a two-round score of 158.

Carley Stenger finished tied for 11th, scoring an 80 in her first round on her way to a two-round total of 170, while Erika Kellems improved her second day score by 18 strokes on her way to a 31st place finish.

Ashley Allen rounded out the group, playing consistently throughout both days on her way to a 35th place finish overall.
