BC Athletics announce winner of Sports Fantasy Auction

Jim Jones of Atlanta, Georgia named winner with $1630 bid

Brevard, N.C. - Jim Jones, of Atlanta, Georgia has been announced as the winner of the first ever Brevard College Sports Fantasy Auction. Jones’ final bid came in at $1,630. With this bid, Jones will now join Brevard College men’s basketball head coach, Mike Jones, as an honorary assistant coach for the BC exhibition game at the University of Tennessee.

Jim will be joining the team and coaches in the locker room, on the bench, and in the huddle tomorrow evening at Thompson Boling Arena. He will also help with reviewing the scouting report, languishing and cheering with Coach Jones and the BC Tornados.

The entire Brevard College Athletic Staff thanks Mr. Jim Jones for his generous support of the Brevard College basketball program and for participating in the first ever BC Sports Fantasy Auction. All proceeds of the final bid will be used for the Championship Ring Fund which will outfit our 2010 South Atlantic Conference Tournament Champion Tornados with SAC Championship rings.
