Rennie leads way on day two as Brevard places sixth at Old North Shore Invitational

Hoard finishes in tie for 10th overall in the field

Misenheimer, N.C. - Thomas Rennie made an eight stroke improvement on his first round total and T.J. Hoard finished in the top 10 as the Tornados placed sixth as a team at the Old North Shore Invitational.

As a team, Brevard carded a two day total of 651 to finish 29 strokes behind tournament winner and host, Pfeiffer University.

Hoard carded a second round 79 to finish in a tie for 10th overall in the tournament with a 157 overall. Rennie and Jonathan Poole finished the two day event with identical 162s to place 22nd overall, while Michael Stamper rounded out the group with a two-round total of 170.

The Tornados men’s golf team returns to the links on March 12th and 13th as they travel to Greeneville, Tenn. to take part in the Tusculum Invitational, hosted by Tusculum College.
