Middle hitter brings her all-around game to the Tornados

Brevard, N.C. - Volleyball Coach Brenda Skeffington, in conjunction with the Brevard College Athletic Department, is pleased to announced Taryn Grimtroski has committed to come to Brevard College and play for the Tornados in the 2011 volleyball season.

"Taryn is a very talented middle hitter and back row player," said Coach Skeffington. "The thing that impressed me most was her desire to learn and grow as a player; she is very coachable and has a high volleyball IQ."

Grimtroski comes to the Tornados from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, where she played at Lambrick Park High School. While a member with the Lions, she was selected to the All-Star team and received the Most Valuable Player award at the Island Championships.
