Garman paces Tornados in first round of Tusculum Fall Classic

Tornados in 10th after first round at Link Hills Country Club

Greeneville, Tenn. - Marliana Garman recorded the lowest round of her collegiate career and Alisiya Klochkova sits in the top 25 as the Tornados women’s golf team currently is 10th overall after the first round of the Tusculum Fall Classic at the Link Hills Country Club.

Garman leads the Tornados after the first round, carding a team low 38 through the front nine, before finishing up with a 42 on the back stretch to sit in a tie for 17th overall with a first round 80.

Klochkova is tied for 25th overall in the event, recording scores of 40 and 42 for the first round for an overall score of 82 on the first day. Emily Smith cut two strokes off her front nine score to card a 94 on the first round, sitting in sole possession of 55th.

Ashley Allen rounds out the group, carding scores of 49 and 50 to put a 99 in the books, sitting tied for 61st overall in the two day event.

The Tornados conclude the two day Tusculum Fall Classic tomorrow morning at the Link Hills Country Club.
