Campbell commits to Brevard College

Tornados add one to 2012-2013 women's golf team

Brevard, N.C. - Brevard College Golf Coach David Nelson is pleased to announce Victoria Campbell has committed to come to Brevard and play on the 2012-2013 Tornados women’s golf team.

Campbell comes to Brevard from Kingsport, Tenn. and Dobyns-Bennett High School where she played under Coach Bill Darnell. Campbell was a four-time All-Conference selection, lining up at the number one position at Dobyns-Bennett.

"We are extremely excited to have Victoria join our program," said Coach Nelson. "She's a very accomplished athlete, as well as an exceptional leader and we anticipate her being able to contribute immediately. Victoria will help us continue to make progress toward building a competitive golf program here at Brevard".

She was selected as the MVP of the team for three years and earned the Most Improved Award in her freshman year. She was also selected as an All-Area golfer.

In addition to golf, Campbell also played Basketball with the Lady Indians.

In the classroom, she was a Tennessee/Virginia Scholar.

She is the daughter of Kristie Campbell.

Brevard College is a member of the NCAA Division II and the South Atlantic Conference.
