BC Comes Up Short at Montreat

Montreat, N.C.- The Brevard College volleyball team lost a hard-fought match to the Montreat Cavaliers in five sets Wednesday night in McAlister Gymnasium, 25-18, 22-25, 24-26, 25-23, 15-10.

The Tornados dropped the first set before ralllying to win the next two. Freshman Fatima Garachorloo put forth a match-high 17 kills at a .229 hitting percentage.

 Lauren Owen and Hannah Scholz combined for 23 kills to lead the Cavaliers.

Brevard returns to conference action at home on Friday, October 5th as they host Tusculum College at 7 p.m. at Boshamer Gymnasium.
