Tornados Shutout at Lenoir-Rhyne

Brevard, N.C. - The Brevard College women's soccer team struggled against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears on Saturday evening, losing 8-0 on the road in South Atlantic Conference play.
Lindsay Pritchard put a shot on goal in the first half, and the Tornados went into the half only trailing 2-0. The second half, however, was dominated by the Bears.
Leah Mullins scored three goals for the Lenoir-Rhyne as part of a Bears offensive attack that puts 20 shots on goal against BC keeper Brittany Webster. Five other Bears also found the back of the net for LRU.
BC looks to rebound on Monday, October 8th in nonconference action as they host Converse College at 4 p.m.
