Tornados Drop Heartbreaker

Brevard, N.C.- The Brevard College women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaker to the North Greenville Crusaders 1-0 on a goal in the 87th minute on Tuesday afternoon.

Caroline Baker dribbled up the right side of the pitch, firing a shot that deflected off a BC defender to change directions for the game-winning goal at 86:12.

The Tornados were active offensively in the match, firing 12 shots to the Crusader's nine. BC put seven shots on goal in the contest, but a pair of North Greenville keepers kept the Tornados off the scoreboard.

The Tornados resume play as they host the Pfeiffer Falcons on Saturday, October 20th at 2 p.m. for Senior Day.
