Brevard's Alycia Andrade Named SAC Female Runner of the Week

Rock Hill, S.C. – Brevard College senior Alycia Andrade was tabbed the South Atlantic Conference Female Runner of the Week announced today.

Andrade (Somerset, Mass.) won the weekly award, as she edged out Lenoir-Rhyne’s Gennilee Eisenmann by one point.

Andrade captured the women's title at the Wingate Pre-Conference Invitational Thursday afternoon on the campus of Wingate University. The senior finished the 5K course in a time of 20:07, 14 seconds ahead of Francis Marion's Kelly May. The individual victory is the first of the season for Andrade.  It was the fourth-straight meet in which Andrade has finished in the top-four individually.
