Cycling heads to Nationals this weekend

Brevard, N.C. - The Brevard College Cycling team is gearing up to compete in the Collegiate Cycling National Championships hosted by Lees-McRae in Banner Elk, N.C. In only its second year of competition, the team has made incredible progress in reaching this event which is by invitation only.

The women’s team, headlined by Julia Tellman and Jo Tuttle has dominated the field all season. The two have taken numerous wins in all disciplines as individuals. The men’s team has been led by the combination of Dan Ennis, Tristan Cowie, and Danny Cesare has won more events on the year than any other team.

As a representative of the South Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference, Brevard, along with last year’s runner-up Warren Wilson, are looking to head the pack this weekend.
