WHITEOUT Game announced for Wednesday's games against North Greenville

Wing eating and spirit competitions highlight the festivities as the Tornados take on the Crusaders

The Brevard College Tornados athletic department would like to announce that Wednesday night's men’s and women’s basketball games between the Tornados and the visiting North Greenville Crusaders will be the WHITEOUT game for the 2008-2009 season.

Brevard’s fans and students are encouraged to wear white to Boshamer Gymnasium to support their Tornados as the season starts to wind down with only five games remaining in the regular season following Wednesday's contests.

As part of the WHITEOUT festivities, there will be a wing-eating contest (Wings supplied by Ed Boudreaux's Bayou Bar-B-Que) during halftime of the men’s game, and there will be a spirit competition, with the student showing the most WHITEOUT spirit receiving a pizza party from Student Activities.

The women’s game tips off at 6 p.m., with the men’s game following at 8.
