Rain forces several schedule changes for Tornados

Brevard, N.C. - Rainy weather has forced several Brevard College athletic teams to reshuffle their schedules.

Wednesday's baseball game between the Brevard College Tornados and the Anderson University Trojans has been cancelled on account of rain. No make-up date has been announced.

The baseball team now turn its attention to this weekend's South Atlantic Conference series with Wingate University. Brevard and the Bulldogs will play a single game Friday at 7 p.m. and a doubleheader Saturday at noon. All three games are in Wingate, N.C.

The softball doubleheader scheduled between the Tornados and the Queens University of Charlotte Royals has been cancelled for today due to rain. No official makeup date has been scheduled yet.

The Tornados turn their attention to this weekend as they jump back into conference play by hosting Catawba College on Saturday, March 28th. First pitch for the doubleheader at the BC Softball Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Thursday's tennis matches have also been rained out, while Saturday's matches have been rescheduled. Thursday's men's match against King and women's match against Converse have been postponed. The Tornados hope to reschedule both match-ups.

Saturday's home SAC tennis matches against Newberry College have been pushed back a day. Brevard and Newberry will now tangle at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
