Ashley Wilson commits to play for the Tornados in the upcoming fall season
Brevard, N.C. - The Brevard College athletics department along with head volleyball coach Brenda Skeffington are pleased to announce that Ashley Wilson has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Brevard College and play volleyball for the Tornados beginning in the 2009-10 season.
Wilson, hailing from Lansing, Mich., comes to Brevard as a middle blocker from Lansing Everett High School. Under head coach Emily Quintero, the 5-11 athlete has received honorable mention awards in each of the past two seasons in volleyball. Wilson also plays on the Vikings' tennis and track teams.
Academically, Wilson is on the honor roll at Lansing Everett High School.
Brevard posted a 14-17 record in 2008, making post-season play in their first year in the South Atlantic Conference.
