Tornado tennis adds pair for 2010

Newcomers look to improve upon 15-win season

Brevard, N.C. - Brevard College tennis coach Paul Thomson is proud to welcome two additions to his 2010 men's tennis squad. Dorian Feron and Gary Sugg will join the Tornados for the upcoming school year in preparation for the 2010 tennis season.

Feron hails from Hennuyeres, Belgium, where he is one of the finest youth players. "Dorian will have an immediate impact on our line-up," Thomson said. "He is a great student and will jumpstart our team in a big way."

Sugg is a native of Charlotte, N.C. "Gary is a solid addition to our program," Thomson commented. "I believe he will develop into a fine player at this level."

The Tornado men's team finished 15-5 in 2009 and posted a 5-3 South Atlantic Conference match. In the program's first season of NCAA Division II competition, Thomson's team hosted a Quarterfinal match in the 2009 Food Lion SAC Tournament.
