Greeneville, Tenn. - The Brevard College women’s golf team finished off the Agnes McAmis Memorial tournament these past two days as the Tornados took on the field at the Link Hills Country Club.
Brevard finished 18th overall in the team standings, taking 10 strokes off their first round 370 to finish the two-round tournament with a final score of 730 overall.
Alisiya Klochkova led the Brevard efforts over the two days, tying for 43rd overall with a two round score of 82-80 to finish with a 162 to pace the Tornados over the tournament. Marliana Garman was also among the Tornados leaders, finishing 71st overall with a two-round score of 82-89 to finish with a 171 overall in the tournament.
Emily Smith placed 84th overall in the tournament, carding a 184 for Coach David Nelson, while Allie Hovis made the most improvement among all golfers in the tournament, taking 21 strokes off her first round total to finish 90th overall at Link Hills.
Brevard returns home for the two-day Aramark Collegiate Invitational hosted by the Tornados at the Etowah Valley Country Club. First round action begins on Monday, April 9th.
