Brevard, N.C. - Brevard College Head Football Coach Paul Hamilton is pleased to release the 2013 BC football schedule. 

Brevard College will play 11 times in the 2013 season, highlighted by games with Division I FCS opponents Presbyterian College and Liberty University. 

The Tornados will play four home games at Brevard Memorial Stadium in Brevard, N.C., including their October 26 game with Catawba College, which will be televised locally by ABC (WMYA, Channel 40). The Tornados will also be on the road for seven games in 2013.

BC opens the season on the road in Clinton, S.C. as the Tornados play Presbyterian College for the second time in as many seasons. The Tornados will take on the Blue Hose at Bailey Memorial Stadium on September 7.

The following week the Tornados will travel to Charlotte, N.C. to play College of Faith on September 14 in the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

BC opens South Atlantic Conference play a week later against Carson-Newman College as the Tornados travel to Burke-Tarr Stadium to take on the Eagles in their SAC opener on September 21.

The Tornados open their home slate at Brevard Memorial Stadium the following weekend as BC hosts North Greenville University in nonconference action on September 28.

The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears welcome the Tornados to Moretz Stadium on October 5 before BC hosts Mars Hill College on October 12.

The Tornados close out the month of October with a pair of conference matchups, first on the road at Wingate University on October 19  and with a home contest against Catawba College on October 26. The game with the Indians will be televised by ABC, with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.

The Tornados finish their 2013 conference schedule with a trip to Newberry College to play the Wolves on November 2 and their final home game against the Pioneers of Tusculum College on November 9.

The Tornados will wrap their 2013 campaign with a trip to Lynchburg, Va. to play FCS opponent Liberty University on November 16.
