TORNADOS MAKE IT TWO STRAIGHT

WISE, Va.- The Brevard College volleyball team completed a season sweep UVa-Wise with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-16) victory at the Prior Center on Tuesday night after BC dropped the Cavaliers 3-1 in the season opener on September 5th.

Senior Erin Rollins paced The Tornados (6-12, 2-11 SAC) with 10 kills at a .353 hitting percentage. Fellow senior Megan Clark followed closely with nine kills, hitting an impressive .750 clip.

Kayla Hanus distributed a match-high 31 assists, which also serves as a season-high for three sets.

Karley Allen led Wise (6-13) with a match-high 13 kills, but the Tornados held the rest of the Cavaliers to a combined five kills and a team hitting percentage of -.021.

Brevard freshman Aleksandra Vrvilo anchored the Brevard defense, posting a match-high 15 digs for the Tornados.

BC resumes South Atlantic Conference action on Friday night as they host the Mars Hill Lions in Boshamer Gymnasium at 7 p.m. The Lions beat the Tornados in straight sets in their meeting in Burt Stanford Arena on September 20th.
