BREVARD, N.C.-  David Taggart from Brevard College men’s tennis  takes home the solo win while hosting the Division 1 program of Gardner-Webb University at the McCoy Tennis Complex on Monday afternoon in an 8-1 loss.

Taggart won in the No. 1 singles position against Benjamin Kaszás of GWU, who he lost to in the No. 2 singles spot last year. David improved his score from 6-1, 6-0 last season to a 6-1, 6-4 win this season.

David Taggart also joined teammate Rory Northam in a competitive doubles game against Kaszás and Jonathon Walker resulting in an 8-6 Bulldogs win.

Nathan Nicholson teamed up with George Finch in the third doubles match against GWU Ernest Alberch and Nicholas Lofrumento concluding in an 8-4 score for the Bulldogs.

The Brevard College tennis team will travel to Young Harris College on Friday, February 21 and play at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex with a 2 p.m. start time.
