YOUNG HARRIS SWEEPS BREVARD

BREVARD, N.C.- The Brevard College men’s tennis team was swept 8-0 against Young Harris in a non-conference match on February 21st at Bob & Gayl Nichols Tennis Complex.

Rory Northam and David Taggart competed as a pair during a doubles match against Young Harris Guilherme Frias and Sebastian Dartnell. The pair lost in a close 8-6 set resulting in a point for the Mountain Lions.

Once again, Rory Northam played against Sebastian Dartnell at No.2 singles pacing a strong first set of 7-5 and a second set of 6-3.

Playing at No.6 singles George Finch played against Raul Quevedo losing 6-3, 6-4.

Despite Brevard’s efforts and athleticism, players were unable to gain a point for their team.

The Brevard men's tennis team will travel to Pfieffer on February 27th for their next match
