LOUDON, Tenn.- The Brevard College men’s golf team placed 6th earlier this week at the Tennessee River Rumble at theTennessee National Golf Club, a 7,163-yard, par-72 designed by former PGA Tour pro Greg Norman.
The Tornados stroked a 616 (+40) for the two-day event, carding a 305 on Monday and following with a 311 on Tuesday.
Brevard’s Oskar Lundgren paced the Tornados, tying for 14th at six-over par. The freshman tallied rounds of 73 and 77. Sophomore Paul Calac finished in 20th with an eight-over par after a 77 and a 75.
The Tornados will now prepare for the South Atlantic Conference Championship, a 54-hole event which is set to begin on Sunday at the Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tennessee.
