Burdeau was hired in 2013 and enters her second year as Brevard's head volleyball coach, coming to Brevard from South Brunswick High School in Southport, North Carolina, where she has served as both head JV volleyball coach and an assistant to the Varsity team since August.
During the 2012 season, Burdeau led the Cougars to a Conference and District championship.
Prior to her time at South Brunswick, Burdeau spent three seasons at Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem. There she led the Spartans to a Conference and District championship every season from 2009-2011.
Burdeau is no stranger to Boshamer Gymnasium either. Burdeau served as the Tornados assistant volleyball coach from 2008-2009, helping BC reach the South Atlantic Conference tournament in 2008.
From 2005 to 2008, Burdeau coached both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Volleyball teams at West Iredell High School, where she was twice named the Coach of the Year after winning the North Piedmont Conference in 2006 and 2007. The Warriors also won the District, Sectional, Regional Championship in 2007, and appeared as a North Carolina State Finalist that year.
Burdeau enjoyed a four-year career at Catawba College, guiding the Lady Indians to a SAC Tournament Championship in 2001 and a SAC regular-season title in 2002.
She graduated in December 2004 with a B.A. in Mathematics and a double-minor in both Education and Spanish.
