Frank Rogers | Head Coach
Alma Mater: Eisenhower College, 1984
Frank Rogers joins the Tornados athletic staff as the first-ever head women’s lacrosse coach at Brevard College.
Rogers comes to Brevard from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he has served as the women’s lacrosse head coach since 2009. Rogers started the women’s lacrosse program at Aquinas, and led the Saints to a 20-2 record in their inaugural season in 2010.
“We are thrilled to have someone with Frank’s winning tradition and experience founding a college lacrosse program to help establish women’s lacrosse at Brevard College,” said Mascaro.
Rogers was responsible for recruiting, prospecting, scheduling, practice planning, and daily operation of the women’s lacrosse program at Aquinas. Rogers also served as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Chair during his tenure with the Saints.
Prior to his time at Aquinas, Rogers served as the head women’s lacrosse coach for Western Michigan University’s club team following a three-year stint as the head men’s lacrosse coach at Kalamazoo Central High School.
An eight-time speaker at the US Lacrosse National Coaches Convention, Rogers also currently serves as a National Women’s Lacrosse League Coaches Committee Member.
Rogers graduated from Eisenhower College in Seneca Falls, New York in 1984 with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management and a minor in Hospitality and Tourism.
