Seth Montgomery begins his third year as the Athletic Media Relations Director at Brevard College, after serving the spring of 2009 as the Interim SID as the main contact for volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s golf, women’s basketball, softball and cycling. He also served as an alternate color commentator for BC football, basketball and baseball games.
Seth graduated magna cum laude in December of 2008 from North Greenville University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration.
Montgomery started his work in Athletic Media Relations as a student-assistant at North Greenville University, where he worked with the football and baseball teams as both a statistician and radio color commentator.
He also served as the main media contact for the Spartanburg Stingers baseball team in the Coastal Plains League in 2007, serving as the statistician and radio alternate.
Prior to coming to Brevard, Montgomery worked as a media intern at the Arnold Palmer Invitational Golf Tournament at the Bay Hill Country Club in Orlando, Fla. in 2008.
Montgomery will also be on the radio as a color commentator for all road BC Tornados football games during the 2010-2011 year, as well as serving as one of the primary color commentators for BC men's and women's basketball. He also will be one of the hosts for Tornado Talk, BC's weekly Friday morning radio sports show hosted by WSQL 1240 AM from 8:45-9 a.m.
In addition to his sports information work, Montgomery is also a member of CoSIDA.
