High School: McMahon, a defender, midfielder, and goalkeeper from Orlando, Fla. attended Freedom High School and Dr. Phillips High School. While attending Dr. Phillips, McMahon received the Varsity Coaches Award then went on to be varsity captain at Freedom High School. McMahon was also honored with the "Courageous Player of the Year" Award 2009 from the Touchdown Club of Orlando and "Award of Excellence" from Orange County Public Schools for strength and perseverance in overcoming adversity following a tragic accident in which she lost her left leg.
