Position: Tornado Club President

“I count it as my honor to be able to work with and for such a fine institution as Brevard College. I have always looked forward to the day when I could help give back the opportunity that college athletics gave to me. As I see it, I didn’t get a scholarship to college, I borrowed one. Please join me in passing on great opportunities to our student athletes!"
Brett is from nearby Etowah, North Carolina, and received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Western Carolina University. Brett was a member of the Catamounts golf team, where he was a three-time All-Southern Conference Selection and team MVP.
Brett has worked in the golf industry
his entire career, and currently owns and operates a golf course brokerage and
consulting firm licensed in the Carolinas and Tennessee. He also owns a golf
facility management partnership in Nashville, and is a member of the Professional
Golfers Association of America.
Brett is also involved with countless community organizations in Western North Carolina and is a recipient of the Carl B. Hyatt medal, the Kiwanis Club’s highest award of community service.
