    The Brevard women’s lacrosse team rebounded from a difficult offensive outing against Averett (March 10) by putting together its third 20-goal game of the season as the Tornados downed visiting N.C. Wesleyan 20-4 on Sunday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Field.

    After a four-day break in its schedule the Brevard women’s lacrosse team returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Felician at Ives-Lemel Field at 1 p.m. It is the first of four straight home games for the Tornados, who are in search of their first win at home this season.

    Four goals each from Olivia Hokanson and Kiersten Foust led Mars Hill to a 13-10 victory over Brevard in the women’s lacrosse season opener for both teams. Brevard’s offense was led by the tandem of Nina Siu, who scored a game-high six goals, and Victoria Hayes, who finished with two.
