BREVARD, N.C. – In an effort to help fundraise for an event that the Brevard College Cheer and Dance team is looking to attend on April 7th, the team will be hosting a Brevard Cheer ID Clinic on Saturday, March 17.
The day camp will be held at Boshamer Gym on the Brevard College campus. It is open for individuals between ages 4-18.
The first session, set for individuals 4-12 years of age, will begin at 8 a.m. and continue to 12 p.m. The day will be complete with a Spectator Showcase at 12 p.m.
After a break for lunch a second session for individuals ages 13-18 will begin at 1 p.m. before concluding at 4 p.m. A Spectator Showcase will wrap up the afternoon at 4 p.m.
Athletes will learn a short dance, two chants, stunts and pyramids as part of the camp. Members of the Tornado cheerleading team will demonstrate techniques for jumping and motion techniques throughout the session.
Registration fees include $30 for each individual participating in the camp and will include a bottled water for athletes involved.
