2017 (JUNIOR): Eclipsed the 100-yard mark four times over the course of the 2017 football season as he led the team in receiving yards (868), receptions (50), yards per game (86.8), yards per reception (17.4) and receiving touchdowns (11) … those numbers placed Craven among the USA South statistical leaders, where he finished the season tops in the league in touchdowns, while ranked second in receiving yards, yards/game and yards/reception as well as third in receptions … finished 36 yards shy of topping each Tornado receiving corps in the 11-year history of the program, the only exception being the 2011 squad that tallied 904 yards … opened the season with four catches for 80 yards against Davidson (Sept. 2) … hauled in six catches for 71 yards in the home opener against Emory & Henry (Sept. 9) … established the then-program-record for most receiving yards (169), while scoring three touchdowns, in a 63-7 victory over Greensboro (Sept. 16) … made his longest reception of the season (60 yards) against the Pride … reached the end zone once, while making six catches for 71 yards, at LaGrange (Sept. 23) … topped the 100-yard mark for the second time on the season by making eight grabs for 112 yards, while scoring two TDs against Virginia-Lynchburg (Oct. 7) … capped off the road victory at Methodist (Oct. 14) with six catches for 117 yards and two TDs, which included a 58-yard gain … added to his receiving totals with a 65-yard receiving performance against Ferrum (Oct. 21) … joined Tyler Gregory with 100 yards receiving as he came through with 127 yards on six receptions in a 58-42 victory over N.C. Wesleyan (Oct. 28) that included two TDs, Craven’s fourth multi-TD outing of the season … ended the campaign with 40 yards on three catches against Averett (Nov. 4).
2016 (SOPHOMORE): Wrapped up the 2016 campaign as the team leader in total offense with 674 total yards (61.3 yards/game) … participated in 190 total plays, amassing 399 passing yards and 275 rushing yards … starting quarterback for the Tornados where he finished 31-for-68 (45.6 completion pct.) and had three interceptions over the course of the season … had a 105.46 passing efficiency and averaged 36.3 yards per game … finished with four passing touchdowns … capped off the season ranked second in total rushing attempts (122) and third in total rushing yards (275) as he averaged 25.0 yards/game and 2.3 yards/attempt.
2015 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in eight games, making his first career start against Catawba Oct. 31...Carried 43 times for 52 yards...Completed seven passes for 54 yards.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Southeast Guilford High School where he was the winningest quarterback in school history ... a three-year varsity starter ... an All-Conference in 2014 ... made playoffs in 2012 and 2013 ... conference champions in 2014 ... honor roll student.
